It provides an opportunity to amplify the Call to Action and the Global PPP Framework, engaging Member States and stakeholders in shaping a coherent, collective response to organized fraud. The event will contribute to efforts to protect populations in the digital age and advance innovation through strengthened public-private cooperation.

The High-level event will be held in person and consist of an opening segment, a panel discussion segment with representatives from Member States, UN agencies and private sector, followed by Q & A's and lastly closing remarks. The discussion will also feature a short video reflection on the Global Fraud Summit. It will also be an opportunity to launch the "Scam Jam" manga comic book developed to raise awareness on online fraud, the dangers of online recruitment/trafficking for forced labour in scam compounds, and to promote measures to stay safer online.

Organized fraud is a significant and growing transnational threat that requires a strong international response. It has evolved significantly over the years, adapting to technological advancements and changes in society, enabled by information and communications technologies. The resurgence of fraud as the most prevalent crime type in many regions is closely linked to transnational organized crime, which is often followed by technological sophistication and the convergence with other crimes such as money laundering and trafficking in persons.
